The Pocono Mountain Chapter was founded in 1980 and has continued in the Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania area ever since. The Chapter is affiliated with the Metropolitan Region and the National Embroiderers' Guild of America. Our goal is the promotion of all types of embroidery and the enhancement and preservation of skill and technique in the field. We meet at Stroudsburg High School in the cafeteria every second Monday of the month at 7:00 pm except July and August. In July and August we meet at Hughes Memorial Library in Stroudsburg. We welcome visitors and new members.

Dues are currently $42/year and include access to all programs and meetings of the chapter, quarterly copies of "Needle Arts" from the Embroiderers' Guild of America, semiannual copies of METROPOLL, the newsletter of the Metropolitan Region, online or by mail, and quarterly copies of the Pocono Sampler. It also includes the cameraderie of dozens of others who share your enthusiasm for stitching. For more information, you can email our Membership Chair or snail mail the address below.
